45C8 is a carbon structural steel, also known as EN8 steel. It is a steel with a medium carbon content, with a carbon content of about 0.40-0.50%, which is one of the commonly used engineering steels. The main feature of 45C8 steel is that it has moderate strength and good toughness, and can obtain suitable hardness and strength after normalizing and tempering treatment.
